On September 25, 2024, the Roadshow pulled through NYC to celebrate The Javits Center. The Javits Center’s 6.75-acre green roof serves as a sanctuary for birds, bats, and insects. The one-acre rooftop farm features beehives and rainwater tanks used for irrigation as they grow up to 50 crops each year. It’s a forward-thinking example of integrating sustainable infrastructure in densely populated urban landscapes.
