South Jordan, Utah, imports 100% of their water because they have no local source of their own. PureSoJo is a new and innovative project that involves purifying recycled water to meet and exceed drinking water standards. It will be a pilot project used to demonstrate advanced water purification technology that may be part of the answer to long-term water supply needs.
ACEC named the project an Honor winner at its 2024 Engineering Excellence Awards.
